I passed my test this morning and couldn't have done it without the amazing tuition, support and patience of the wonderful Pat Lewis! When I first started having lessons with Pat I was a very nervous driver, with little confidence on the road. Through our hours out in the car together, Pat showed me that with a little patience and a lot of practice I can indeed drive! She gives concise, clear direction and is always happy to answer any queries I had (of which there were many...), taking the time to ensure I understood her explanation and giving constructive criticism where necessary. In the run up to my test I could not have felt more supported and in safer hands. Pat ran me through the many possible routes through Winchester - much of which came up in my test - so I felt incredibly well prepared. Furthermore, Pat is a wonderful lady and it is a pleasure spending time chatting with her in the car! I could not recommend Pat more to any learner driver.

I started learning to drive about two years ago, I had 3 instructors before finding Pat Lewis. I think this contributed to my low confidence during lessons but Pat managed to find the exact balance needed to direct and teach me to drive without making me feel silly or worried. Not only was I taught the practical skills needed to pass the test but I was taught to adopt an attitude, that would help me through my driving life. All the lessons where negotiated weekly and Pat was always able to accommodate change which is really important with such a young family, and something that when compared to my experience with previous instructors was really appreciated. I really have nothing negative to say about my time learning to drive with Pat. I never dreaded my lessons like I did when I first started learning to drive driving and there was always a real sense of achievement after each lesson, like I was learning new things as well as improving at a rate that suited me.

My experience with Pat Lewis as my driving instructor was a very positive one with successful results. When I first had lessons with her I was very nervous but her professional approach soon put me at ease. We ironed out all the problems in my driving (except for nerves!) and I managed to pass my test within two months of starting to have lessons with her. Pat was my second driving instructor I had done a lot of the groundwork with another instructor but she managed to help me to finish the task at hand in a relatively short period of time and I also feel that my driving long term will have benefitted from having her as an instructor.

Pat Lewis was an amazing Driving instructor! I always felt calm and relaxed whilst driving and Pat always made it an enjoyable experience. Pat’s methods of teaching and her personality make it a pleasure to drive in the car with her and gave me a love of driving. I would recommend Pat to anyone who wanted to start driving!
